Food wastes are rich in organic matter and are nuisance for disposal because of space constraint and release of methane during degradation of organics. We are providing solutions for domestic and industrial food & kitchen waste. Our ZPHB® reactor convert this food to biogas which inturn is used as fuel in kitchen or power generation.
Food waste entering the plant shall be pre-sorted to separate waste such as plastic, aluminium foils, iron etc then fed into food crusher for size reduction then transferred to slurry tank to prepare 10% concentration. Then it's fed into ZPHB® reactor for degradation of organic compounds to produce biogas.

There are many technologies for treating the food wastes. KIS Group offers the CSTR technology to treat the food waste & capture Biogas to meet the local discharge regulations. Our treatment system consists of
1. Pre-treatment which includes pre-sorting from paper, aluminium foils, plastics etc and crusher for size reduction.
2. ZPHB® reactor – is a mesophilic reactor which will be made of RCC, MSEP or glass fused tanks.
3. Biogas Management System – which collects the biogas from the reactor roof and transferred to membrane gas holder. Biogas is blown by blower for further utilisation of gas.
4. Gas Utilisation – is to the kitchen, BioCNG® or for power generation based on the applications.
5. ETP – to reuse the water back to the reactor for preparation of slurry.
