1. MULTI-GRADE SAND FILTER

Multi Grade filter is used to reduce the TSS, Turbidity and Pre filtration for RO system for surface water treatment plant. Different grade of sand will be provided for depth filtration. Back wash and air Scouring arrangement are provided for better efficient operation. MOC and Operation will be selected based on process and end user requirements.

It consists of vertical or horizontal pressure filters that contain multiple layer of coarse fine sand. It reduces turbidity and TSS from water, water is passed through multi layers of filter media consisting of graded sand pebbles and gravel layers. The contaminants in the water are captured in the bed and filtered water passes onto the discharge at the bottom of tanks.

2. IRON REMOVAL FILTER

Iron removal packs system will be provided for removal of iron from the water before entering into Carbon filter. Special media will be used for the same. MOC and Operation will be selected based on process and end user requirements.

Activated Carbon Filter (ACF):

Activated carbon filter is used to remove organic Compounds, Taste, Odour and Free Chlorine from the raw water. Activated carbon works via a process called Adsorption, where pollutant molecules in the fluid (water) are trapped inside the pore structure of the carbon substrate. Back Wash arrangement, MOC and Operation will be selected based on process and end user requirements. MOC can be FRP, MS Epoxy painted and MS Rubber lined with food grade and operation will be done through manual, semi auto and auto operation with PLC. MPV with manual and auto also will be provided based on flow and sizing of the vessel.

3.DISINFECTION

Disinfection is usually the last stage of treatment for potable water to protect from pathogenic microorganism and viruses for those causing diseases like cholera, Polio, Typhoid, Hepatitis and a number of other bacterial, viral and parasitic diseases. Disinfection is a process where a significant percentage of pathogenic organisms are killed or controlled. There are many methods available for disinfection such as Chlorination (Cl2/ClO2), Hypochlorite, UV and Ozone. Each method has its own specific advantages and disadvantageous and same will be implemented based on inlet parameters, client requirements and local regulations.

4. UV Disinfection

UV process is an extremely quick physical process, it will degrade/mutate the DNA of the organism which disrupts the organism’s ability to replicate and unable to function further. In the UV disinfection process, water is purified as it runs through a SS chamber (Reactor) that contains UV Lamp spectrum (200-280 nm), the wavelength 254 nm that inactivate the microorganisms. UV has the advantage that chemicals free (99.9% effective) are added to the water being treated and that no disinfection by-products are formed. Due to the small foot print, the UV equipment can be easily integrated into most existing water treatment plants. UV has four major components - reactor chamber, the lamp, the quartz sleeve and controller unit(ballast)

5. REVERSE OSMOSIS

RO is a water purification technology that uses a semipermeable membrane to remove ions, molecules, and larger particles from drinking water. In reverse osmosis, an applied pressure is used to overcome osmotic pressure, a colligative property, that is driven by chemical potential differences of the solvent. Also it is used for reduction of TDS from raw water. We provide membranes from reputed manufactures like M/s Hydranauctics and GE.The RO system helps to achieve reduction of up to 90% of TDS from raw water. These membranes are housed in a pressure vessel and the raw water is passed through the membranes by use of a high pressure pump. RO system consists of Pre Cartridge filter, Membrane Modules and all other accessories including all control instruments, Auto valves and instruments for an auto operation through PLC/ SCADA. RO provided will be having skid mounted arrangements based on the requirements and inlet parameters. RO reject will be transferred to Effluent treatment plant for further process or land disposal as per the site conditions and inlet parameters.

6.ULTRA FILTRATION

We provide tailor made UF treatment systems based on client requirements by the latest technology. Hollow-Fibre systems. Ultrafiltration (UF) has a variety of membrane filtration in which forces like pressure or concentration gradients lead to a separation through a semipermeable membrane. These ultrafiltration membranes are having pore sizes in the range of 0.01 - 0.10 µm and possess high efficiency in removing suspended solids, bacteria and most Viruses, Colloids and Silt (SDI) from feed (Raw) water.

The membranes (hollow fibre) typically are encased in a pressure vessel and the influent water is passed through the membranes by use of a pump. Periodically, the membrane surface is cleaned by back flushing using permeate water and fast-flushed using influent water. This helps in maintaining the membrane surface for repeat use. The process of back flush and fast flush is automated since the frequency of this cleaning process could be within 60 minutes of service cycle.Ultra Filtration is also commonly used as a RO plant Pre-Treatment. UF will ensure Less SDI and reduce RO membrane fouling and cleaning frequency and it will increase RO membrane life and total performance of the system. We provide latest UF membranes from leading manufactures like M/S Hydranauctics, GE, DOW, Inge and Norit with skid mounted arrangements and complete auto operations.
